Esendex.net Exchange 2007 and 2010

  • Open Exchange Management Console
  • Expand Organization Configuration
  • Right-click Hub Transport and select New Send Connector:

The first step of the New SMTP Send Connector wizard asks you enter a Name and Select the intended use for this Send connector. Enter a friendly name for the connector, for example ‘Esendex Connector’ and select Internet for the intended use.

  • Click Next
  • Click Add to add an Address Space and enter esendex.net in the Domain field.

  • Click OK
  • Click Next
  • Under Network Settings select Route mail through the following smart hosts
  • Click Add to add a smart host
  • Select Fully qualified domain name (FQDN) and enter ems.esendex.net.

  • Click OK
  • Click Next
  • Configure smart host authentication by selecting Basic Authentication
  • Enter your Esendex username in the following format:
  • <Account Reference>\<Username>
  • Enter your API password.

  • Click Next
  • Select the Source Server
  • Click Next
  • Click New
  • Click Finish to complete the SMTP Send Connector Wizard.
